2 ‘BIN-I’ scholars now full-fledged civil engineers

SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – Clyde Rosqueta and Michael David Antolin, scholars of the San Nicolas Express BIN-I Foundation, Inc., are now living their dreams after successfully passing the November 2018 Civil Engineer board examination.

Clyde Rosqueta hails from Brgy. 9 San Lucas. He is the eldest son of Nolie and Yolanda Rosqueta. His father is a laborer while his mother is a plain housewife who, sometimes, accepts laundries to support their daily needs.

According to him, there were a lot of struggles which he encountered when he was in college and being financially challenged was the most pressing one.

“It is hard for me to concentrate in my studies knowing that there are a lot of fees to pay in school every other day,” Rosqueta told in an interview. “But I am so blessed to have kind people who helped me through the scholarship that is given to me by the BIN-I Foundation,” he added.

Rosqueta said he is very grateful to the Foundation and its stakeholders for they form a big part in his success. “Napalaus unay ti innak panagyaman iti sibubukel a BIN-I Foundation, kadaguiti naayat unay nga sponsors ko nangnangruna ken Mayor Alfredo P. Meanwhile, Michael Antolin is from Brgy. 24 Santa Monica. He is the son of Henry and Celestina Antolin who are both pastors of their church.

Saan ko madanon detoy nga ayan ko ita no haan nga gapo ti tulong ni Apo nga Namarsua ken iti Foundation,” he said.
