COMELEC RESUMES VOTER REGISTRATION ON JANUARY 20

Registration of voters for the 2022 national and local elections will resume on January 20, 2020 until September 30, 2021 except on Maunday Thursday, Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Who may register?

Any FILIPINO citizen who is:
– at least 18 years of age on or before the May 9, 2022 National and Local Elections
– a resident of the Philippines for at least 1 year and in the place wherein he/she proposes to vote, for at least 6 months immediately preceding the May 9, 2022 National and Local Elections
– not otherwise disqualified by law

What to bring?

FOR REGISTRATION
Original and photocopy of the following:
1. Birth Certificate and if marries, Marriage Contract
2. Any valid ID such as:
– Current Employee’s ID with employer’s signature
– Postal ID
– PWD Discount ID
– Student ID or Library Card signed by school authority
– Senior Citizen’s ID
– Driver’s License
– NBI Clearance
– Passport
– SSS/GSIS ID
– IBP ID
– License issued by PRC
– Any other valid ID

*Cedula, Police Clearance or Certifications/Identifications issued by Barangay Officials shall not be honored as valid identification documents for purposes of resignation

FOR TRANSFER
Original and photocopy of the following:
1. Any valid ID with address of the present residence OR
2. Any valid ID and barangay clearance from the past residence (original copy)

FOR CHANGE OF CIVIL STATUS
Original and photocopy of the following:
1. Marriage Certificate
2. Any valid ID
– If ANNULLED – Certification of the Decree of Annulment
– If WIDOW – Death Certificate of Spouse

FOR CORRECTION OF ENTRY
Original and photocopy of the following:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Any valid ID

FOR REACTIVATION
Present the original and bring photocopy of the following:
1. Any valid ID

The Municipal COMELEC Office is open on Mondays until Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
